About
our Leadership
Reverend Mary Jackson serves this congregation with dedication and considers it a privilege to do so. She holds a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Bethune-Cookman University, an esteemed HBCU.
Her ministry has been profoundly enriched by the steadfast support of her husband, Irvin, who has partnered with her for decades in guiding and shaping the church’s vision and programs. Though often working quietly behind the scenes, his wisdom, strategic insight, and unwavering dedication have been instrumental in the growth and spiritual vitality of the congregation. Together, they have cultivated a spirit of service, mentorship, and faithfulness that permeates every aspect of church life.
Throughout her journey, Reverend Mary Jackson has been deeply engaged in both ministry and education, dedicating many years to the public school system. She is especially passionate about programs developed to foster the spiritual growth of children, youth, and young adults. She firmly believes that nurturing the next generation is vital to the vitality and future of the church and is wholeheartedly committed to guiding them as they deepen their faith and embrace their unique callings.
In Christ’s Service,
Reverend Mary Jackson, M.Div

Get Connected
Our Youth Ministry is a dynamic and welcoming community for students in grades 6th to 12th.
We also make space for fun and connection. Our dedicated youth game room - coming soon - is a favorite hangout spot, featuring table tennis, a pool table, foosball, and air hockey, along with areas to relax and connect with friends. It is a place to unwind, laugh, and create memories together.
The Young Adults Ministry empowers individuals in ages 18-29 to get involved in meaningful ways, including serving on church committees, ministry boards, and helping to lead small groups and special events. Your voice is valued, and there are plenty of opportunities to help shape the direction of the church and make a real impact. Whether you are a college student, young professional, or exploring what comes next in life, Ebenezer is your new place of worship.
Looking for a place to connect, grow, and belong? Our Adult Ministry is designed for adults in their 30s through 50s who want to serve on leadership teams, trustee teams, ministry councils, attending district events, conferences, serving as ambassadors of our church, sharing in the wider mission of the denomination, and helping guide church initiatives through prayerful leadership and collaboration.
Ebenezer Seniors are encouraged to get involved in key areas of ministry such as the Outreach Team, the Radical Hospitality Team, and the Leadership Council. These roles provide opportunities to mentor others, support church-wide initiatives, and help create a welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors. In addition to serving locally, elders have the opportunity to represent Ebenezer at Global Methodist conferences and district gatherings.

Take the Next Step: Baptism
Baptism is a special step in your faith journey, a public declaration of your commitment to follow Jesus and be part of God’s family. At Ebenezer Methodist Church, we welcome anyone interested in baptism, whether you are new to faith, returning after some time away, or seeking baptism for your child.
-
Baptism symbolizes cleansing, new life, and being united with Christ. It is a sacred act that connects you with the church community and God’s grace.
-
Baptism is available for all ages: infants, children, youth, and adults. If you or your child have not yet been baptized, we would love to talk with you about this important step.
