Rev. Mary
Senior Pastor
Reverend Mary Jackson serves this congregation with dedication and considers it a privilege to do so. She holds a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Bethune-Cookman University, an esteemed HBCU.
Her ministry has been profoundly enriched by the steadfast support of her husband, Irvin, who has partnered with her for decades in guiding and shaping the church’s vision and programs. Though often working quietly behind the scenes, his wisdom, strategic insight, and unwavering dedication have been instrumental in the growth and spiritual vitality of the congregation. Together, they have cultivated a spirit of service, mentorship, and faithfulness that permeates every aspect of church life. In addition to her professional and ministry work, she has been happily married to her husband for over 30 years, reflecting a strong commitment to faith, family, and partnership.
She attended Bethune-Cookman University during a historic year when African American women were allowed to participate in the band for the first time. During her time there, she proudly played the flute in the university band. She has over 30 years of experience as an educator and over 20 years of experience in pastoral ministry, dedicating her life to teaching, mentoring, and serving her community. She also serves as the President of the Unique Women’s Group, a Christian organization based in Florida that focuses on encouraging, supporting, and uplifting women through faith, fellowship, and community engagement.
Throughout her journey, Reverend Mary Jackson has been deeply engaged in both ministry and education, dedicating many years to the public school system. She is especially passionate about programs developed to foster the spiritual growth of children, youth, and young adults. She firmly believes that nurturing the next generation is vital to the vitality and future of the church and is wholeheartedly committed to guiding them as they deepen their faith and embrace their unique callings.
